It appears that NSW Police and the relevant ministers (Minns, Catley, and Kamper) have totally failed to manage the events of this evening. We were told the Major Events Act powers were needed to prevent chaos in the CBD — but what do you call this? Tear gas, pepper spray, crowd control collapsing.
