At first, the 20 mph policy was framed as “political” — but over time, talk shifted toward safety, children, and urban mobility.
People began seeing the benefits 🚸
We analysed 70k+ tweets about Wales’ new 20 mph speed limit
Public negativity dropped & positivity rose over 6 months — showing attitudes adapt with time 🕒
