The surreal mix of absurdity and ceremony was perfect foreshadowing for my year in Shenzhen.

HBO Max has old Sesame Street episodes from the 70s I’ve been watching with my daughter, and they’re SO good.

We need a show like this for adults—like a mashup of SNL and NPR Tiny Desk concerts where you learn about taxes and emotional intelligence etc. I’d watch it every day.

I wonder for curious kids who were born with smart phones everywhere, before they get old enough to understand the internet, what is their model of how smartphones work? With seemingly infinite knowledge and their parents’ unending attention, what do they imagine is going on there?

Is it just whose showing up in my “What’s Hot” or does BlueSky feel a little cliqueish to anyone else—like actually it’s a year or two old and you just found out about this platform where everyone knows each other and is right already?
