I think this is one of my best jokes in this game.
Screenshot from Drywall Eating Simulator, a lit-up art piece on a wall that says "placeholder" against a pink background over and over. The placard for "Placeholder" Placeholder Unknown (2019) An intentionally mysterious meta-work. It asks the viewer to think about the purpose of a placeholder. What need is it actually filing? Did the artist intend to actually replace this simple graphic and text with a "greater" work? Or is its submission a statement into itself, that the only purpose for this art is to fill negative space? The artist was kept anonymous as a bid to keep the focus entirely on the piece itself.
