I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

I am so thrilled to have been invited by one of my academic idols, Carola Suarez Orozco, to talk about Sanctuary School @harvard-ed-press.bsky.social at #AERA26. There’s no better place for this than L.A., a city leading the fight for immigrant justice. convention2.allacademic.com/one/aera/aer...

Mahmoud Khalil should never have been detained for his speech. New York is his home, period.

Bad Bunny said it right — we won't let ICE's depravity strip us of our humanity.

Our communities, neighbors, and loved ones are worth fighting for.

Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.

Trump is using ICE and CBP like a private army to abduct immigrants, silence dissent, and inflict violence.

In response, Minnesotans showed the world what it means to care for your neighbor.

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Had limited access to my phone all morning. Came back and reviewed multiple videos of the killing of Alex Pretti.

It was an execution. He did not pose a threat. He was on the ground and his gun was taken from its holster by one officer. Then he was shot multiple times and killed by another.

ICE and CBP agents are out of control and put everyone in danger.

We're calling for ICE agents to withdraw from Minneapolis, and for Congress to rein in ICE’s abuses in our communities.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
