I really wanting to re-download Instagram before the account deletion takes (they don't actually delete after you tell them to until you go 30 days without logging in after telling them to delete it) but I really want to be free of Meta. But honestly does it even really matter at this point?

I don't know if my tastes are just changing as I get older or if I've just come across the wrong things for my taste lately, but where plot twists used to be something I enjoyed in my fiction, I'm finding lately that they're feeling more like bait-and-switch and it's kind of pissing me off.

I would really like to get away from Meta altogether, but they have woven themselves into my life so much that I'm not entirely sure that I can.
