There’s no greater example of a good product creating market dominance than Steam. Their biggest competitor literally hands out free games to users and they still prefer Steam as their platform of choice.

A bit let down with the new Mac DeMarco album. There are a couple standouts but it’s largely a dozen variations of the same song. Making the guitar the centerpiece of the album only really works if you’re willing to experiment and create depth with it.

I think in the conversation following Summer Slam it needs to be stated that WWE’s monopolistic hold on American pro wrestling is over. Wrestlers are not forced to work for a company with horrible practices. They make that choice with each contract they sign.

I’m on the fence. There’s absolutely a need to preserve the integrity of organizations and specific people’s identities, but this will inevitably lead to the same class division experienced on this app’s predecessor. Seems like we’re doomed to go down the same road.

I've never seen AAA but I think it should be pretty clear to anyone that WWE scooping up any wrestling promotion should be viewed as a bad thing for the business. TNA is almost certainly next.

WWE has spent the week prior to their biggest event of the year having wrestlers do the worst PR imaginable, even as far as praising sexual predators (alleged and proven), and meanwhile AEW just put one of the best matches of the year on television for free. Maybe it's time to change the channel.
