I think we can sometimes get complacent about generative AI. Always validate the responses you get from current AI.
Trends in Cognitive Sciences recently published an opinion piece on the threat of LLMs like ChatGPT making it easy for misinformation to be widely championed as accurate, which feeds misinformation back into the LLM, further institutionalizing the misinformation.
