I hope this has already made it around to all who need to hear it.

ICE is going undercover to try to gain access to observer networks, especially school patrol.

Do not give info to anyone approaching you on street wanting to get "involved." They might even try to convince you they're school admin

Making space to store more kids stuff and came across an old photo box of mine from 20 years ago. Pulled a few fun ones.

The core memory I have tied to this song from it being the opener on a few A&F store muzak playlists.
Just before opening I’d be dousing the MOA store in Fierce™️ and just feeling the drums in my chest from the “then times” million dollar sound system.

Recommended it to a friend for a first date. He cut in front of his date to sit in the first chair the maitre d pulled out, forgot glasses and couldn’t read the menu, and finally was like $10 short and had to ask date to cover the tip. …lead a horse to water etc.
Pane Vino Dolce - felt so cool in my 20’s bringing my now wife there. No signage, cash only, but still affordable made everyone feel special.

please tell me about your favorite lost restaurant (closed for at least 5 years, like I really want you to go back into the vault), why you loved it and what you ate there

These are concentration camps. And these are the numbers they're comfortable sharing.
This is the sixth death in ICE custody in 18 days. This isn’t enforcement, it’s a system that cages people, outsources care, and shrugs when they die. Abolish ICE.

Thanks. We have folks in our community giving vulnerable students rides to school, and a teacher shared that they were putting small stuffed animals on their dashboards to help kids identify safe cars. ICE picked up on it and started doing the same. Horrifying.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

It’s so dumb - wife taking our 6 yr old to swim - spots the tight caravan as out of place for the area, calls me anxious, I’m home with 3 yr old, to ask for advice on how to get out of the parking lot if they box in the only entrance.
