In January, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services will roll out a pilot program that will use AI to review Medicare patients' requests for care.

Insurers will get rewarded when they deny care.

What could go wrong?

Workers’ rights are human rights—they’re fundamental freedoms owed to everyone. Those rights are under attack, but America’s unions will keep fighting back for a more just society for all.

main economic message from
the president is that you will be poorer and you will like it
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

I feel this in my bones…

THE AMERICAN WORKER IS ALL OF US. Black, white, Latino, Asian, Native, immigrant, union or not. Not the “working class” stereotype.

We built this country. We keep it running. Stop dividing. Start recognizing.

I have a lot to say

Corporations and ultra-rich individuals with numerous business interests cannot be trusted to prioritize the public’s right to know over their own bottom lines.

When billionaire conglomerates take control of media, it’s not a win for free speech. It’s a win for oligarchy.
If Paramount is allowed to take over Warner Bros. Discovery, the conservative billionaire Ellison family will control:

Paramount Studios
CBS
CNN
MTV
HBO
Comedy Central
Nickelodeon
Cartoon Network
Warner Bros.
DC Studios
Fandango
New Line Cinema
TNT Sports
TBS
Oracle

And more.

The point here: if the SCOTUS holds that such limits violate political parties’ First Amendment speech rights, then PACs with their unlimited spending and court-protected 1st Am political speech rights will be next. Then it’s unlimited spending everywhere. How is that pro- democracy?
I respect Noel Francisco as a Supreme Court litigator. But how he can say that ending limits on political parties coordinating with campaigns somehow "benefits democracy itself" or that the cash Elon poured into party coffers before getting unsupervised control of DOGE wasn't quid pro quo. Wut?
