Posted another episode on YouTube: "Unlocking Modern C# Features Targeting .NET Framework".

Quite a few devs limit themselves with C# 7.3 when they target full framework or .netstandard2.0.

Ok, so I'm messing about with react, cos I don't know anything about it, and it's so much easier to learn using llms. It's a different way of learning. I usually jump around trying to do my silly little ideas, and trying to do it in a tutorial is always frustrating

Ok yesterday's #adventofcode taught me a bit more about f# pattern matching. But demonstrated that there's a lot more to learn about type inference. I battled a lot to make sure the types were inferred correctly everywhere. Feels like I should have been able to specify types.

I just searched for #adventofcode and was pleasantly surprised at the interesting variety of answers. I like the guy who is completing the first week in Excel.

Advent of code seems like a good opportunity to dabble in f#. I'm not sure what to make of the Seq class. It's useful, but I'm always a bit wary of class names that are used everywhere.
