Idea haver. Sometimes I put them to use.

Hamilton, Ontario

Trying to cast my social net in any way possible. Looking for collaborators or anyone with similar passions.

He/Him
Some moments in art leave a lasting impact on many

The intro of Jaws

"I am your father"

Widely seen, widely discussed, their edge slowly dulled by overexposure

But others affect a few beyond the confines of rationale

They imprint on the DNA, stick in the memory, inspire the dreamers of tomorrow

A boundary I can set on my vulnerability is something like "vulberability/openness upon request"

If there's curiosity about my life or feelings then I'll be honest and open as you want

If not I won't spend the energy overthinking about it

Coming to Disney+ (rumored)

Tim "the Toolman" Taylor is divorced by his wife and kicked out before having his fatherly role replaced by her secret lover Wilson

I said "typical thinking from a Pisces"

It's immature and lazy to make jokes comparing Roald Dahl's BFG to the iconic weapon in Doom

But the movie didn't need to complicate things by adding an army of hellbeasts

I hope somebody gets value out of these posts

I don't know what to do with these thoughts

I want to be honest with my friends and family

But articulating those thoughts in the moment is hard

And the times where it gets steamrolled by them talking about themselves are painful

It was kknda disappointing when the Mario movie had the DK Rap but the creators didn't get credit. It just said "From Donkey Kong 64 Owned By Nintendo" or something

At least it was one of the few needledrops in it that didn't erode my grey matter

More movie notetaking

I wanted something relatively new and not American (since the last couple watched were)

I need that variety to stimulate underused parts of my brain

I wonder how much of the second half was hidden edits. Seems it would be impossibly difficult for 100% legit

Still ultra cool

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name

Except when it's because you were legally required to go around the neighborhood to disclose your criminal history

Adam: Today on Mythbusters, we're tackling a big one: is my wife having an affair?

*40 min later*

Adam + tequila: After a thorough study and much crying, this myth has been indisiputably confirmed

Jamie: Can I go, then?

Adam: Wanna stay for a drink?

Jamie: No

Adam: Oh... yeah you can go

It's neat how the official sequel to Balloon Fight got reworked as a Hello Kitty game but it still makes sense because Kitty flapping her arms to float around via balloons feels very on-brand

Shoutout to the delightful RetroAchievements name. They know you can't spell "Hello Kitty" without k-i-l-l

I got a videographer role with an organization that teaches financial literacy to young people in the foster system

It's nice to have some kind of objective and it's a good cause

Hopefully these productive real life experiences will help defog my inner world

Thinking about this after learning that the kids' game show Nick Arcade would frequently give trips to Space Camp as a prize because someone at Nickelodeon bought too many
The Twelve Days of Christmas but every day the only gift is a partridge in a pear tree and it's reveled that the giver had to offload some liquidated stock

"I appreciate the trees but where can I put them I live in a windmill" or however people spoke back then

Do you get a cash refund or store credit if you buy parchment paper that's already been marked by an ancient evil incantation?

If just store credit then I can think of other uses for it

I know the silence isn't apathy or disrespect

Even when my stomach kicks and screams I trust that it's for the greater good

I know progress is occuring. You're incredible strong and brave for being so committed

Even if this phase is difficult it's still been beyond anything I could've imagined

The opening notes of Deliver Us from Prince of Egypt would be really funny if played in Trombone Champ

I have a soft spot for weighty grandiose music played horribly
