Yesterday, was feeling very overwhelmed by all the big things not going right. Today, tried to focus on gratitude and the snow peacefully falling in this beautiful place called Calabogie.
Sometimes…. it’s just a matter of focusing on the small things I guess.

I accepted a request on LinkedIn from a retired sailor and woke up to a long detailed email about all of his personal challenges from birth.
It made me very very uncomfortable. I’m a compassionate person but this crossed the line completely.

My library has me reading more! Having a due date has motivated me to read faster, especially when I see others waiting for a book.
