I have great health insurance. Just did my selections for 2026, my insurance will increase by just over $800 next year for a single person with no dependents.
Overall not bad.
I feel lucky because I know many Americans are about to get hit with a ridiculous increase in their premiums.
So unfortunate

Rest in peace Sister Jean.
You were an amazing human being and the world was a better place with you in it.

So let me get this straight RFK ---
Tylenol use for circumcisions causes autism???

When are you going to state that drinking water at any point in life causes autism???

Every time you open your mouth, the United States gets dumber.

ACOG reaffirms that acetaminophen is safe for managing pain and fever during pregnancy. No reputable studies support suggestions like those in HHS’s recent announcement linking acetaminophen use in pregnancy to autism; in fact, high-quality studies show no such risk. https://bit.ly/47Wxc59

First it was vaccines cause autism and now Kennedy and his cronies are telling us that acetaminophen markedly increases the risk of autism.
Acetaminophen has been shown (and proven) safe in pregnancy and one of the few drugs that pregnant women have been able to take with little risks.

I would suggest parents follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations on vaccines rather than Robert F. Kennedy's hand picked CDC advisors.
To say this new vaccine recommendation is dangerous is an understatement.
Even 3 of his hand picked advisors voted against it.

Today we saw why the Republican chair would not agree to put Kennedy under oath.
The blatant lies he was spewing out his mouth was amazing.
When the illnesses & deaths truly start to hit, that is 100% on you Republicans that confirmed this guy as head of HHS.

Am I the only one who didn't know that dial-up was still a thing?
🤔

AOL is finally shutting down its dial-up internet service
AOL’s dial-up internet is finally taking its last bow. Yes, while perhaps a dinosaur by today’s digital standards, dial-up is still around.

This study was published in Annals of Internal Medicine; the journal is NOT retracting it just because of political pressure from the world's most extreme & dangerous anti-vaxx activist

The lead author, Anders Peter Hviid, says "I have not been targeted by a political figurehead in this way before"

Had what I think was the shortest power outage I have ever experienced (like 5 seconds).
But of course it was just long enough to have to log back into everything.

Should we start questioning Trump's cognitive decline like they were with Biden?

Trump, 79, Can’t Remember Appointing His Own Fed Chair
The president blamed Joe Biden for selecting Jerome Powell as the U.S. Central Bank head when it was in fact him who made the appointment.

Did a killer legs workout at the gym today. Gave it a 10/10.
About 4 hours later had the worst leg cramps I think I have ever had.
Couldn't believe how much pain I was in for about 5 minutes.

Steven A. Smith is just too irritating to listen to.
Thank God he is not doing play-by-play.

Just horrific news out of Minnesota this morning. So senseless.
Just a reminder about Minnesota, the Minnesota Senate makeup is D = 34, R = 33.
Minnesota House: D = 67, R = 67

Have to wonder if this person was trying to shift the makeup in Minnesota among other things.

Got a sleep number bed after about a year of looking at them.
Have to admit, after a few nights sleeping on it, I am absolutely loving the feel (and becoming slightly obsessed with the app)
Not sure that is a good thing...
