I’m going to show up in person to vote this year. No mail in ballot that can be compromised by this group of traitors. If I have to stand for hours, I will. We all must.

I woke up before 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. Weeks ago I'd dreamed that the heat vent noise was flights of planes heading to Venezuela. Disturbance in the force.

Proud of my daughter-in-law in these trenches. Always with the cuts to the needy to distract the caring from politics to our neighbors' needs. We have to do both. www.npr.org/2025/12/19/n...
For those who help the poor, 2025 goes down as a year of chaos
Local anti-poverty groups have had to scramble and scale back this year as the Trump administration targeted safety-net programs. They are bracing for what may come next.

I propose a lawsuit against the DOJ and its handling of the Epstein files with the goal of installing a special master, if not a special counsel, to oversee the whole redaction and release process, since the DOJ is already compromised as unwilling to obey the law. Who has standing?

I love footballball but FIFA and Fascism is simply not worth it. I will not go to America or watch the games on Telly. I will #boycottTheWorldCup money makers.

I have loved sending and receiving Christmas cards since I was a kid in the 1950s. I start early and write personal notes, and I want to tell you that it has been a hard year to know what to say to my conservative southern relatives or my freaked out liberal relatives and friends.

Besides the usual Republican ploy of keeping liberals busy feeding the hungry by creating hard times, I fear with the SNAP cutoff maybe be intended to induce riots and looting in order to justify the Insurrection Act & troops.

These far-right influencers are all-in on chattel slavery
MAGA influencers and a GOP operative have been offering defenses and outright endorsements of slavery in recent weeks.

Got a PTA alert from my son and rushed to a local school because ICE had been spotted parked in a no parking during school hours area and asked to move. Parents, grandparents and staff alerted parents and completed the walk with the children to their waiting teachers.

Hegseth ranting that the media doubted Trump on "obliterated." He must not have heard about the famous boy who cried wolf or even the"decision in two weeks" message. Trump is a professional liar, so it would be journalistic malpractice to take his word for anything.
