I've been laid up for the last week + cuz a Kidney stone the size of a large blueberry is trying to kill me. Got a bunch of cool freelance stuff and some other fun times doodles that I need to polish and post. But instead I'm laid up, drugged up and waiting for surgery on Tuesday. Yay.

This shit is so fucked. I just want to work in a stable and healthy industry, but man, this shit gives me so much anxiety. Like everyday I wake up saying to myself, "Is today gonna be the day I loose my job?" and I fucking hate that...
2024 currently has more known games industry layoffs than 2023+2022 combined.
2024 is roughly 600 layoffs away from doubling 2023. There is still plenty of business days left in the month.
I can't emphasize enough how extreme these last few years have been.
