This can be applied in every direction. All the hagiographic treatments of “the Big Three” *and* of Carlos and Jannik don’t give the champions of the 70s and 80s the credit they fully deserve. Tennis fandom suffers from a serious presentist bias.

There is a lot that Mayors and Governors could do, via local and state law enforcement, and the courts would back them up. Much of this would be avoidable, if state and local executives would simply enforce the laws in their jurisdictions.

January 6, 1973: "Schoolhouse Rock" premieres on ABC with Multiplication Rock.

The series was the idea of ad exec David McCall, who noticed his young son was struggling with learning multiplication tables, despite being able to memorize the lyrics of many Rolling Stones songs.

Part of the difficulty we face is that not only are we confronted with evil, degenerate opponents, but some of those ostensibly on our side are too ignorant and stupid to be of any use. The tens of millions of people who voted for Harris have no way to "stop him" until there is another election.

1/2 It's disheartening to think that some people are only engaging with you and being friendly in the hope that at some point it might lead to your conversion. I wonder if they grasp how much of a disincentive this is to interact with them at all. (cont'd)
