As we approach the full moon, there's a great colourful corona around it in photo 1, with Mars sitting on the edge. #WolfMoon #FullMoon #astronomy #astrophotography @stormhour.bsky.social

The Full Moon, Mars to the lower left of the Moon, Jupiter shining brightly (top right), Albebaran is the star below right of Jupiter and if you look really closely you can just seen Orion’s Belt.

This one is for you Dad ❤️
My first sight of our beautiful Moon in December and it appeared at the time my Dad passed away three years ago today.
Not perfect seeing, lots of clouds, but I’m thrilled to get this photo, it means a lot to me.

I had the opportunity to visit The Royal Observatory in Greenwich last weekend.
It wasn’t the best weather, I got soaked standing on The Meridian Line, but it was great fun ⭐️

Last weekend I was in London at an event run by the British Astronomical Association and The Society for Popular Astronomy (SPA).
I had a brilliant time representing the SPA, it was great to talk to visitors and catch up with my astronomy friends.
