Most streaming platforms pay a derisory amount to artists - it would take 5000 plays on Spotify to make the equivalent of a single CD sale. The sole exception to this is Bandcamp - and today is #bandcampfriday! Everything you spend with them today goes directly to us.

Thankyou, Sheffield folk scene. Together you raised over £6000 for Alzheimer’s Research and Brain Tumour Research in two days at Crookes. You sang carols, you danced, sessioned, bought LPs and cakes and raffle tickets and were a perfect audience. What a community this is!

Thankyou, Sheffield folk scene. Together you raised over £6000 for Alzheimer’s Research and Brain Tumour Research in two days at Crookes. You sang carols, you danced, sessioned, bought LPs and cakes and raffle tickets and were a perfect audience. What a community this is!

Here's a lovely concert we have arranged in Bamford on Sunday, 30th March with Peter Knight's Gigspanner trio. We will have a bar selling local ales and cider & a raffle. Only half an hour from Sheffield & free parking. Tickets are £20 from wegottickets so crack on and buy one before it's too late
