Didn’t realise I was not on mute when I yelled out, “I don’t f**king need this,” in a Teams work meeting of 50 people today. Bury me, please! 🙈😳🥴

Not exactly a #bluesky but I’d say “English grey” with windswept trees is still poetic! Trying to jumpstart my writing brain with frosty morning walks. Thanks for the up & go inspo @suzieedge.bsky.social 😂

I’m raising a little author 🥰 loves books just like his mum. So much that he’s started making his own (he’s only just turned 5).

Today I removed the old copies of my books from my shelves. I kept the copy of each that has my original handwritten editing notes, and the final paperback and hardback versions, but I don’t need 30 copies showing various cover and formatting changes 😂 #booksky #authorsky

Check out that sky! It’s -5°C again this morning but at least the sky is pretty 🥰

Learned a fact about leopard slugs and knotting the other day…unwillingly I might add… I’m just wondering how long it’ll be before chewing off your appendage and living as a female will appear in a romance book…🤦🏻‍♀️🥴😂

Word of the day: Corrigendum
Meaning: A thing to be corrected… like my social media presence this past year 😬🥴

Finally reading The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. What better way to do it than with the gorgeous @foliosociety.bsky.social edition I got for my birthday last month! 🥰

Me in my day job 😏
Instead of "I apologize for the delay," write "thank you for your patience." In lieu of "sorry for the oversight," write
"if you're so perfect, why don't you fu*king do it, Marsha."

Follow me for more etiquette tips. 😁

It’s been at least a year since I wrote anything. A year since I finished reading a book. A year since I posted anything half decent on social media. Boy did I need that year! But hi folks! I’ll be right with you!
