wow one REALLY can't rely on LLMs to follow a state machine. They kind of want to do their own thing
LLMs are kind of like UN-guided missiles of cognition. They are fantastic when you cut them loose and let them go. But if you have some specific target in mind, good luck 🤣

So tomorrow I have to reach out and start looking for contracting gigs. My AI sabbatical has been a lot of fun and rewarding, but time for me to try to earn some money again
I think my next step is going to be either contracting or with a startup. There seems to be a lot going on there right now

it's not a "black box" it's transparent, u can look inside & see what's happening, u can open it up and tinker with it, it's just that what you see is a massively-parametrized function that doesn't work in a way that's instantly legible to you personally but ppl can and do understand things about it
