I was 7 the first time I visited this building. The flag that my Grandfather fought under in the Civil War is in the Lobby. A statue of my cousin sits on the grounds. This is the people's house, we do the people's work. I am honored, always, to be a part of the history that is made there.

I believe in the long game. Don't look back, don't wallow in today. Focus on the future, find your path to get there, and then walk it. Don't fall into the "negative" traps. Lift your head, straighten your spine, and get going. The future needs us to step up, and rise we will.
