Our latest #NewAccession is a digital copy of a map of Middle Peak & Stoneycroft quarries, produced when Stanton Ironworks Co Ltd took 50% ownership from Bowne & Shaw Ltd in the 1920s. The Wirksworth firm traded in ironstone & limestone. The original plan is thought to have been destroyed.
