The orchids are still going strong. Probably need to water tomorrow morning, they are starting to get dry. #bloomscrolling 🌴🌿🌱🌺

#dragonfly I think this is a scarlet skimmer. I have never seen a dragonfly this red before. It's almost as red as the firespike it is resting on. Lucky day. 🌱🌴🌺

Too much Internet, must get more outside before my brain melts. 🌱🌴🌺🌿

Trump is in the files so much people should start calling them "The Trump Files, featuring Epstein"

Just accidentally spreading misinformation based on my misunderstanding. Deleted ASAP not bringing it up again because I don't want to make it worse, not because I don't acknowledge it.

I have been really supporting these butterflies with passion fruit vine and I have had hundreds of them this year and there are caterpillars everywhere. Making a conscious effort has paid off, now I need to increase my diversity. #bloomscrolling 🌱🌴🌺🦋🌿

Euryale ferox has fantastic foliage—young leaves are all puckered and prickly. You can see why Victoria amazonica (which also has prickly leaves) was first classified as a species of Euryale. Both photos by wondoroo CCBYNCSA2 #Nymphaeaceae #Botany 🌾🧪🌱

Blueberry buds are forming. These are the early ones. Blue sky and palm trees but it's feeling fallish. Found a toad hiding in the grass when I moved a bucket. Galardia continues to bloom...🌺🌿🌴🌱

I hope you aren't getting sick of this kind of orchid. I have three of them and they are blooming right along. Baby bananas showing on my dwarf banana tree. Starfruit are really coming on strong. Trumpet zucchini is blooming hope it can survive the opposum. #bloomsrolling 🌱🌴🌿🌺

#New to BlueSky? You have to work for a better world here. Repost what interests you. Try starter packs. Block anything that raises your heckles. Seriously anything, block like you are a fragile flower. It's still the Internet, stuff gets through but it turns down the volume. Worryless happymore.🌱

Still on my quest to make up with my hummingbirds. I did my arting outside today. #sciart #hummingbirds 🌿🌴🐦🦉

Set up a table so I can draw the hummingbirds in. Piled it with anything blooming that I haven't transplanted yet. So far the bees and dragonflies are the only ones to appear. 🌴🌺🤞🌱🌿🐦 #sciart Haven't cleaned this up yet forgot to bring out my eraser. They are suspicious of the table.

The hummingbirds are starting to get brave. My patience is paying off. They are buzzing pretty close now and not even yelling at me, but I am only taking pictures far enough away not to bother them. When they are more used to me hopefully I can get some really close ups. #hummingbirds 🌿🌱🌺🌴🤞🐦

It's working. Just sitting quietly in the yard while drawing. They are getting used to me. This one was about 2 meters away. They love the firespike. #hummingbirds 🌴🌱🌿🌺🐦

I can't help but think that #taylorswift hating is being driven by bots. I get that some of it is genuine but that's the kind of thing that really divides people. So stop and ask yourself, do you really care?

I like the starfruit to get just a little more ripe before picking them. I really believe
If they get all the way to orange the taste is much sweeter than counter ripening. Also my miniature banana plant is blooming. 🌱🌴🌺⭐🍌

The hummingbirds have come for the winter. There's a bunch of them, but they aren't used to me yet. This is super zoomed and cropped so it's not a great shot, but hey, it's a hummingbird. #birds🌿🌴🌱

I would have liked to have filmed the inking of this tiny wren and the shrub's very fine branches with this brush, but I needed to get especially close to the piece for this and it would have been too awkward.

Some blooming things from my garden. I took a digital break last week and was finally feeling up to checking in with the world. 10/10 would do again. #bloomscrolling 🌱🌴🌿🌺
