Improved v.2 foot design for Qosu, my bird-gorilla alien. - has two thumbs (hand), therefore two weird toes - unlike bird (digitigrade), they have planted heels. - lemur + gorilla + woodpecker (kinda) long toes Big thumb-like toe = big toe in humans, kinda Small thumb-like toe = pinkie toe in humans, kinda Large heel

Reference sheet for a mole-badger-alligator alien named Zuin. There is a full front body and side body view standing, one 3/4 view (sketch) on four legs, and two head views with notes on his throat pouch and mouth. The color palette is desaturated darker purple-reds and saturated oranges, based on sweet potatoes. NOTES: - large, flat mole/badger claws (digging) - smaller arms about 3/4 size of larger limbs - skin is leathery and tough - small eyes, suited to dark - throat pouch - molars (crunching and grinding -- shells & nuts) - incisors and canines (sharp -- for worms)

Qosu (or Qwosu), the alien bird-dino-thing.
They are one of my favorite OCs, and part of the reason why I enjoy aliens so much. An emotional, playful, fun-loving, amiable alien who likes seeing people happy. They're a inventor and candy maker.

Reference sheet of Qosu or Qwosu, my colorful alien-bird-dinosaur-thing OC. Color palette is based on a sugar cookie + mixed berry mix (I'm sorry, it's a lot...). Note: For the body, reference giant anteaters and gorillas. There are two front references (one on four legs, the other one standing on two legs), and two side references (one on four legs, the other standing on two legs, without arms). There are three drawings of their head (one front, one side, one 3/4 view). There are drawings of their mouth and tongue, hands, and feet (left foot).
