Shoutout to the Episcopal Church for embracing our trans siblings! They have a Church Rite for the blessing and renaming of a trans person!

(Please share your own church’s rites/prayers. I know the Episcopal Church isn’t the only affirming denomination.

I have since made a second batch of soup. The next one was chickpea noodle. Sherman politely picked at it. 🙃

Moving my impulse book buying over to Better World Books! Happy Friday everyone! 501 Spanish Verbs is on my ever growing list of "Purge Regrets" from the Texas to Maryland move. No more! Soon to be reunited with my verbs! I loved On Rotation by Shirlene Obuobi! Looking forward to this one! #booksky

Indeed it is! I remember having to do that as a kid and how awful it was.

Coincidentally, I have had a lot of coffee and need to go to the bathroom right now.

OR... do you trust a stranger to watch your stuff? ORRR.... is this an undue burden on said stranger?
February 14, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Or... do you leave all your stuff and cross your fingers that no one steals all your stuff while you're in the bathroom?
February 14, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Here's a silly question: if you're out and about doing work at a coffee shop, what do you do when you need to use the restroom? Do you pack up all your stuff, take it with you to the bathroom, and cross your fingers that the spot will still be there when you return?

That's the pot it came in, but it is quite a tight fit! Why does the store sell a plant in a too small pot? Fashion over function, I suppose!

Sitting at my work from home desk comparing my phony felt cactus to my living succulent. The succulent is not doing too well! I'm one of those people who can't even keep a succulent alive. Tips welcome!

Populating our living room walls with some pictures! An Austin fave, RBG collars, Bernie, and a few likely picked up from free piles.

It's so edifying! I'm so grateful for her example.
