It's Devil's Night, so I will be watching The Crow like a good little former 90s midwestern goth.

Just finished reading the Arkham Horror adventure THE FORBIDDEN VISIONS OF LUCIUS GALLOWAY, The Drowned City, Book 1, by Carrie Harris. Good ending, and now I want to read further adventures of Lucius, Rudi, and Quinn. Maybe something that takes them to exotic foreign lands... A cracking great read!

It is a truth universally acknowledged that plumbing problems multiply when you're not looking.

About 11 months ago, I found out I had skin cancer. Removal would be quick and easy, they said. They were...incorrect.

I just left that hospital for the last time. No more treatment. No more reconstruction. No more cancer.

I am DONE.

Friendly reminder to keep an eye on those down ballot races! I voted in ours today, and there were zero lines. This may have something to do with the availability of early voting, but still.

My old college GM just asked me to join his group again. I have a great idea for a game too. I'm gonna pretend it's the 90s only this time I'm less stupid.

Me, baseline: I will cook a healthy, preplanned meal with vegetables in it today!

Me, slightly overwhelmed: I will order pizza.

Me, very overwhelmed: Pizza. Mozzarella sticks. Gimme.

Gonna go have another mozzy stick now.

Over the past week, I've graded 100 papers for my writing class.

A common issue? Make sure important elements get the most page space. It's so simple, but so easy to mess up. As you're editing, be critical--does this section deserve its space? Should it be cut or expanded?
