Illinois would benefit greatly from a true safe storage law that requires all firearms to be securely locked up when not in use. SB8 is not that bill. SB8 would not even apply to the 70% of Illinois households that don't have minor children. #needsimprovement 😐

I deeply believe (in fact I know!) that @democrats.org understand and care about the importance of digital platforms. Which is why I’m quite surprised by this job posting - expectations vs salary/experience are completely at odds

Yes, they do. I wouldn’t take guidance from traditional media about what is resonating with voters - we’ve seen over and over how wrong they are. This is all over social media (not just bluesky) even on non political accounts.
