For people who've recently followed me because I posted or retweeted serious stuff, I post 65% serious stuff and 35% kpop/jpop fangirl stuff. This is a semi-mixed use account, as are all of my socmed accounts, and I can be a deeply unserious person.

I just wanna manage your expectations here.
YAY! I found a movie! The best thing about these low-budget movies is that some of the actors are so unserious, and you wonder how many takes they ruined by laughing at themselves. This looks like a similar trope to The Divorced Billionaire Heiress.

This is unironically one of my favorite movies. It's one of those zero budget films that they show in 3 minute parts on Tik Tok, and it's so good. I love this particular trope so much. Isabella Moore is a fun character.

The best description of a Digimon evolution. 😂 I remember how hot I thought Angemon was. He's still very attractive. 👍🏾

We were in high school, and it was a fun thing to watch shows like Digimon, Power Rangers, and Pokemon. I had a Pikachu watch that said, "PI-KA-CHUUUU!" when you pressed it.

I'm so sad to hear about Ace Frehley. I've been a KISS fan for nearly 30 years (original lineup only). Ace is my favorite. He was really the creative brain behind KISS at their peak, and his playing always had such a signature sound. You KNEW it was Ace. Too bad Gene didn't go first. 😭

History Says Most Trump Supporters Will Never Turn On Him. No Matter What.

Why are the farmers destabilized, Scott?
Bessent: "The Chinese have unfortunately turned our soybean farmers into pawns. They're trying to manipulate them and our farmers overwhelmingly back President Trump. They know that he has their back. And we can't implement the programs we want to stabilize the farmers' finances."

So many thriving independent black communities were burned, bulldozed, and drowned. That's partly why we're in the state we're in today.
60+ years ago, the white leaders of Newport News, VA, seized the core of a thriving Black community to build a college.

The campus location “was almost entirely a racial issue,” said one professor. “I believe they wanted to remove the Black community from here.”

A federal judge this week found the Trump administration's targeting of pro-Palestinian students to be an illegal suppression of free speech. Mahmoud Khalil, who spent months in jail and still faces possible deportation, says the campaign was clearly designed to make people "afraid of speaking out."
Mahmoud Khalil Hails Ruling Against Trump Deportation Effort Targeting Pro-Palestinian Students
A Reagan-appointed judge has issued a scathing ruling rebuking the Trump administration's targeting of pro-Palestine students. Judge William G. Young called the case AAUP v. Rubio “perhaps the most important ever to fall within the jurisdiction of this ...

I feel vindicated! In 2007, I had a debate with my fellow City Year team members. I was the only one who always believed that Jonas and Gabe survived at the end of The Giver. Everyone else said they froze to death and Jonas hallucinated. In the 2012 sequel, The Son, JONAS AND GABE SURVIVED.

Saw a profile that said "30+ DNI!" (Do not interact)

30+ is interesting. Is it to protect the user from grooming? Ageism in fandom? Most of my friends have always been much older than me. Even as a kid, I liked adults more than my peers.

I am autistic, though, so maybe that's just a me thing.

I wonder which county will be the first to use nukes? Probably us again if Trump is at the helm or Russia. If theirs still work. Two madmen in charge.
For the “war = offense + defense” crowd…the U.S. dropped “War Dept” in 1947 because it carried the wrong signal to citizens and the world. Calling it “Defense” projected restraint in a nuclear age. Switching back now isn’t semantics, it’s a deliberate rebrand toward aggression.
