On the phone with my ma discussing X-Files. I said it's criminal that they put two of the most beautiful people on television, on screen together and she says, "Mitch Pileggi and David Duchovny?" 😭

Rewatching X-Files, something stands out to me, just as it did when rewatching TNG.
Other genres of TV really ought to return to the 20+ episode, episodic storytelling format.
Yeah, you have your Law & Orders and other network shows, but not so much in the realm of thrillers, horror, and sci-fi.

It's kind of shocking that The X-Files did a spin on The Thing just eight episodes into the series. It's even more shocking that it's one of the best episodes of the first season.

Having finished Control for the second time in a year, I'm going back to Quantum Break for the first time since its release and my first time playing it on PC. After that, maybe it's time for Alan Wake and Alan Wake II again.
