Next: WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE GIRLS (Sourcebooks Fire, 6/30/26)
I’ve revised two books in the last month and my solution to major problems for both was to add more murder. I love this genre.

I try to make every little milestone count and right now Murder Land is the second most requested YA on NetGalley!! Thank you so much to everyone who’s already requested and if you haven’t, please do! Maybe we could even get it to number 1, a potential first in my career?

After putting it off for weeks, I’ve finally started revising my adult speculative thriller and managed to get 70 pages done today. God I love this book so so much.

After being correctly advised by my agent to not start writing a new book until we finish submission, I’ve decided to write a book idea as a screenplay instead which is not the same thing at all

One of my favorite ways to develop casts of characters regardless of genre is to imagine a sitcom starring them and see how they’d react to traditional sitcom plots. It does so much for working out dynamics and major character traits
if u see this, quote-post with your tips for writers that no one gives anymore because they seem obvious (even though they're not)
