This is such an interesting read. History always repeats itself. Back in the late 90s early 00s many events were brand sponsored. With the rise of the internet, nightlife lost big time on this money as brands preferred ownership of their audiences. Full circle?

I long for the day that British Electronic Music gets the same recognition as a valuable cultural asset, with the same cultural tax relief as Theatre, Orchestras and Museums

Totally made up with this news! We've worked so hard to bring nightlife together, create joy around tricky topics, whilst creating safer spaces. Its just wonderful to be recognised internationally for the work the Bristol Nights community does.
