Watching black spiritual traditions that sit within authenticity hit mainstream media was honestly great to see. Although it was still dramatized, it was nice to not see a caricature or demonization. I would definitely watch Sinners again.

Just proves they could have BEEN doing something to make positive changes but have largely just decided not to.

I don't know why, but Kwanza was just never something that I could get behind. It always felt like commercialized Blackness to me. And I forget it's happening every year.
