Not a great Bruce Springsteen fan but this is good:-

Rather puzzled by where Tesco's, Warrington display their plasters. 🤔

Well done BBC 6pm News!
They give Reform 3 mins followed 2.5 mins by Verify doing very little to question their policy.
Then 3 minutes of Chris Mason grilling @eddavey.libdems.org.uk not about their policies. He just attacks him for suggesting that the BBC cut & paste Reform's plans.
Case proven!

This is meant to be the BBC's quality journalism. It reads more like the words of a wide-eyed little boy in a sweet shop.
There's no criticism or analysis and certainly no balance of opinions.
The BBC needs to do better.
Chris Mason: Reform conference shows party's growing ambition like never before
The conference feels like that of a big party - but retains the insurgency vibe that the party is seeking to channel.

What like when Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons or when we allowed Russia to keep Crimea.
He can't be trusted.

I think most the world understands that the USA is in trouble. And if Trump and his lackeys don't understand it, Denmark, the EU, Canada, Mexico and the rest of the world have to explain it to them. The USA needs rescuing. Very importantly, for international security, Trump has got to go.

Touche!
I mean fine, but it’s only because of France that the United States exists.
"It's only because of the United States of America that the French aren't speaking German right now."

Unbelievable ignorance

Late to the game, I know, but I can't recommend this book enough.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

My goodness, that was shameful.
All of the US should hang their heads in shame at the disrespect that Trump and Vance showed to that office.
And Vance's response to question about whether he has been to Ukraine: "I've seen the stories"!
He's too much of a coward to visit Ukraine and see the truth.

Trump could have pushed for an end to the war in Ukraine without becoming actively hostile to Ukraine. Instead, he has imbibed Putin’s lies. Have written about the emergence of a new US/Russia axis, where it comes from and the staggering implications for Europe.

My favourite walk from Grindleford Railway Cafe around Padley Gorge. Such a variety of terrain. You can go from "Lothlorien" to "Mirkwood" in less than an hour.

I was right.
