Every single time I see layoffs at a major studio I always see at least ONE giddy idiot going "Hehe they're gonna have to get a REAL JOB NOW" as if he's not going to complain ~1-2 years later when said company is now giving him absolute low-quality garbage.

It's sometime in the early 00s. You and your three friends have about $20 apiece. You're all going to the local arcade and spending most of the day playing Gauntlet Dark legacy if you can. You stop during lunch to buy a cheap hotdog and drink for $1.50.

I think the more I hear arguments about "Toxic positivity" the less I believe it. Its gotten to the point where it feels like a fake argument people bring up when you disagree with overly harsh or unfair criticism.
