It's very good, and is more than him just flipping his stance. He goes back and challenges his old views on AI now he is more educated on the subject. He is highly embarrassed by his previous views now. It is worth the watch

No, I simply understood what they were talking about. Considering the work culture at Larian, and their increase in hiring artists at the moment, I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

They haven't mandated that their artists use these tools. They are exploring it's uses to see if there is any benefit. This isn't a situation about replacing artists with AI. It's artists trying to see if these tools are of any help. I say this as someone firmly against AI

Yeah so they probably won't keep using them if that's the case. The point is, they explored using these tools to see if there is any benefit, if there isn't then they'll just keep doing what they're doing. I am hugely against AI, but I can see exactly what he was saying here, and it's fine.

Larian isn't using AI instead of artists, they are letting their artists explore tools so they can speed up workflows. There is a lot of tedious work that can be streamlined, which frees up your artists to do actual art

The people against this seem to be conflating what social media was vs what it is now.
It used to be a digital meeting place to engage with friends and family, but now it is no stop slop being fed directly into your eyes.
I'm interested to see the long term results.
