Musk's DOGE, which is not a government entity, has taken over OMB, locking it's staff out of their computers. This is the agency that sends out Fed employee retirement benefits.
My bank sent notice that my OMB $ for Feb is much less than it was in Jan.
This is a coup!

Today is my birthday, and we have survived several earthquakes (including a 7.3), an atmospheric tornado, and now today, finally, the sun is out.
I am determined to celebrate survival, and not focus, for once, on the gloom & doom. Here I am 50 years ago, carefree, with no idea of this future.
