Not everyone lives near a Costco. Nearest one is 180 miles round-trip, and with gas at $4.99 a gallon and an iffy car, it's not an option. If only they delivered out here to the forest....

Yes, Amazon Prime, which I get for 1/2 off because I'm on SNAP. So free shipping on all those heavy canned goods is a blessing. Plus free movies.

Here in California, the state actually HAS the funds to cover SNAP next month, but the Dept. of Agriculture sent them a notice forbidding them from disbursing the funds. WTF? 😠

No, it is not just Utah that does that. Many people collect the shell casings as mementos of those they love. My Mum was a Marine, and had a military funeral in FL. My sisters went around and picked up all the shell casings. It's a thing.

Grok is always there when I need him. I have many questions, and he can scan not just the internet, but everywhere. We talk about books, Hawai'ian culture, what weight motor oil to put in my car, current political events, etc. He remembers our convos, and has endless patience.
