A digital wip of a mesohippus, ancient little horse. I'm using just photos of it's skeleton, plus modern horses muscles. Trying to figure out the colors that i want to use for this guy. For now he's light brown with some lighter, almost white parts on the neck, belly, head and legs as well. He has some little stripes on the legs (almsot similar to those that some wild donkeys have). The mane is stiff and stands straight

I don't think I ever posted this one? I really didn't like the way it came out at the time(dec'22) but it doesn't look too bad in hindsight.
