new runner-up pick: the Mobapad N1 HD. It's pretty plain, but has good rumble, amiibo support AND...AND! the ability to let you make your own lil tunes in its mobile app for power on + power off (haven't had this much fun customizing since the og Steam Controller) www.theverge.com/tech/791574/...
