Severance is now having that same effect that Breaking Bad had on me when I first watched it, where suddenly everything else I’m watching feels worse just by virtue of not being Severance/Breaking Bad.

Severance is now having that same effect that Breaking Bad had on me when I first watched it, where suddenly everything else I’m watching feels worse just by virtue of not being Severance/Breaking Bad.
MYTHIC QUEST is such an interesting show cause for the most part, it’s just a really well-executed workplace comedy. But then once or twice a season they’ll throw a curveball and hit you with an extremely moving flashback episode that could just as easily be an award winning indie drama. Good show.

MYTHIC QUEST is such an interesting show cause for the most part, it’s just a really well-executed workplace comedy. But then once or twice a season they’ll throw a curveball and hit you with an extremely moving flashback episode that could just as easily be an award winning indie drama. Good show.
PSA: THE EMPTY MAN is really good and deserves a cult following.

Spent my day rewatching DEADLY CLASS and walked away once again pissed tf off that this show didnt get any room to grow.
Season 2 would’ve blown the damn doors off but non comic-readers will never know.

No spoilers but the scene between Milchick and Natalie in the newest Severance ep is one of the most subtly horrific moments the show has offered so far, and it’s played so expertly between the actors that I nearly passed out.

The worst thing about working a full-time job and writing on the side is having a lightning bolt moment of creativity early in the shift and then having to just sit with it for hours before you can put it on the page.

The craziest part of TALK TO ME is that (as a RackaRacka fan) I expected it to be a very gore-heavy nonstop shock fest with a *huge* body count, and instead it was this extremely well-paced slow build with brief and effective punctuations of violence.
THAT is how you subvert expectations.
