Second sourdough loaf and it was all going so well. I thought I'd let it cool in the oven as I heard it helps with the crust. But I forgot to turn the oven off 😭

Made my first sourdough loaf this week. Pretty happy with the taste and seems to have pretty good bubbles in the crumb. But it didn't keep the crispy crust and is a bit flat. Any ideas why #breadsky ?

Second attempt at sourdough baguettes. Slightly darker than planned but looks at that ear!
I really struggled with the hydration levels. That will be the next thing to learn and understand.

So my baguettes didn't turn out quite right...
The dough was SO wet I couldn't shape them so had a quick pivot to focaccia instead.
