Given that the labour party said criticism of #Israel was anti-semitic, I wonder if #Mossad has something on the current government. Given that #Palestineaction is not a terrorist organisation why did they ban it? Are they in Israel's control? Is #mandelson the only politician in their grip?

When my daughter was under two we didn't have much spare money. Her birthday was January so I spent more on her older brothers. Cue #Xmas day: "Doesn't Father #Christmas love me as much as the boys?" I've been overcompensating at Xmas every year since - all 28 of them!

I love #Pinterest as a place to save ideas, inspiration, visual reminders...but it has become an absolute cesspit of false companies pirating images from actual jewellers and providing ersatz versions of the great designs they have pinched from other places. Pinterest should be ashamed.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

The people who make Shein's clothes labor for ten to twelve hours per day (in violation of China's labor laws), some up to seven days a week, and earn as little as 15 to 30 cents per t-shirt.

She is in an alleyway, where a dozen people are huddled around a row of bulletin boards.
They are reading the job ads on the board, while examining the stitching on a pair of chinos draped over it.
This is Shein's supply chain. The factories are contracted to make clothes on order - some small, some big. If the chinos are a hit, orders will ramp up and so must production. Factories then hire temporary workers to meet the demand their permanent staff cannot fulfil.
The migrant worker from Jiangxi is looking for a short-term contract - and the chinos are an option.
"We earn so little. The cost of living is now so high," she says, adding that she hopes to make enough to send back to her two children who are living with their grandparents.
"We get paid per piece," she explains. "It depends how difficult the item is. Watched #BBC #CelebrityTraitors. If celebrities were indeed all paid £40K, it seems the prize fund of £87,500 for charity was pretty pathetic. And, as my daughter said, they could have done a lot of good for the charities chosen by the celebrities, if they had allowed them all to talk about them.

Reminded me of a friend who posted about her perfect parents. They'd just wanted her to do her best, no unreasonable curfews. Supportive + lovely. Giving this opinion to her sister, she had to disagree. They were neglectful! Lazy! Didn't care if we ever came home!

I'm hearing fighter jets overhead in market rasen. Living close to the red devils you get used to hearing them during the day but this is unusual. Ran outside but it's raining and the visibility is poor.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
Zarah Sultana seems to be very impulsive. Like others I assumed the membership portal was official and by #YourParty. It seems not, and I have initiated a chargeback. Very disappointed she seems to have acted alone without any of the democracy she talks about. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
