#SkateStory status: I spent 20 minutes excitedly trying to grind this whole set of ledges, despite there being no tangible reward for doing so.

I have now played the Pragmata Steam demo 4 times.
1) that's a gooood demo
2) there are at least 7 ratings you can get. They're numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. but it's more like Metal Gear Solid ratings for particular things you did than "good, better, best."
3) Diana is a good bean

It just makes me so genuinely grateful. The idea that a team of artists can create something inspired by an (at that point) 18 year old novel that 11 years later I'm sharing with my 89 y/o grandma is just unreal. I'm just grateful. I'm so glad people make art.

A couple times a month, I get together with my grandma to hang out and watch a movie. Last time together we watched The Boy and the Heron and she loved it. So naturally, I pivoted to more Ghibli stuff. Today, we watched Howl's Moving Castle and she absolutely adored it.

It's a fun detail looking at this post that Vince Gilligan worked on the X-files and wrote the episode starring Michael Cranston, which led to him reaching out to him for Walter White.
The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.
