She/her. Here for news, particularly regarding trans rights and the rest of the LGBTGIA+ community. Fuck the Supreme Court and UK Labour.

This is the kind of thing that I hope @zackpolanski.bsky.social will tackle. The flow of UK money since Brexit/Covid goes only in one direction and a lot of unscrupulous people are making a lot of money.
Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

My letter to the women’s commission after their meeting with the prospective new chair of the EHRC today. They are reading these letters and referring to them so I shall keep writing!

Right I filled in that bullshit EHRC consultation and I feel dirty. Wasn’t planning to write very much then the anger took over and most of the boxes got a bashing. What an absolutely shameful dogshit country this is now.

Is this hell?
C4News, "The Prime Minister Keir Starmer, unusually, chose to take only one broadcaster, GB News"

What word would you use to describe a PM who only takes GB News on a trip to another country?

Yet more proof of the highly biased nature of the Cass review. In other words, a stitch up.
Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

On Friday evening, we were made aware of an amendment put forward by three Tory MPS to the Data (Use and Access) Bill, that will be voted on on the 7th of May. This amendment, if ratified, would severely infringe on the human rights of trans people in the UK.

Trans, NB & intersex people out there white-knuckling this shitty bit of UK history while politicians and talking heads discuss which bits of society they ‘might’ be allowed to participate in and how much of a ‘danger’ they are to others..

My letter to my MP. The UK is an absolutely hellish place for trans people and their loved ones.
