I want to tell this to people as the NYC mayoral election approaches. In the late '70s mayoral race, the Mario Cuomo Campaign published material stating "Vote for Cuomo, Not the H*m* (slur for gay)". Andrew Cuomo allegedly wrote that homophobic slogan.
