Some of my happiest Star Wars internet memories were working together with dozens of fan creators on non-profit campaigns. Taking fandom and helping to steer it toward real-world good is one of those things I’m proud of.
I mourn the loss of Star Wars Twitter once a month because there was some real community in that space and now we're so fragmented, like Jedi post-Order 66.
Friends I used to nerd out with daily that now I just hope are doing well wherever they are on the internet....

V FOR VENDETTA seems to mostly understand its source material. It’s just an incredibly American take on it (for better or for worse).
Good movie.
WATCHMEN basically recreates the book panel by panel but still completely misunderstands it at a cellular level.

Carrie Fisher was equal parts brutal honesty and impish hilarity. She fought stigma, made art out of heartbreak and saved lives simply by being unapologetically herself and creating space in the world for people to do the same. That’s her true legacy. No space buns required.
