Multnomah County officials expect to have $87 million less to pay for shelters, rent assistance and eviction prevention in the next fiscal year.

(Meanwhile, City of Portland may have $35M+ more?)
Multnomah County faces an $87 million drop in homeless services funding
Jobs could be cut, shelters could lose funding, and rent assistance could shrink as the county faces major homeless services budget reductions.

Did my tree pruning for the winter and had a bunch of branches without a use. With only a couple tools I made a whistle in 15 minutes, in case you might need a whistle some day soon. 🌱

Oh no.
A Wyoming housing proposal would put a private development on national forest land. It would set a precedent for carving up public lands whenever local housing or economic pressure mounts.

It's a small project, but a terrible precedent to set.

happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com

We’re crushed to hear that Catherine O’Hara has left us. Horror fans know her work in BEETLEJUICE and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (as well as a memorable appearance in TALES FROM THE CRYPT), but her body of creativity beyond genre is an epic one. Our condolences to all who loved her.

Bone Temple is incredible and anyone who remotely likes horror should see it immediately.

The satanic Jimmy Savile cult, an unexpected love story, multiple dance numbers and a seriously brutal scene made for a perfect follow up to 28 Years Later.

This franchise is all bangers.
