Clinton was the only president to balance the budget.
Bush left office in a near depression & Obama fixed the economy & passed the ACA.
With a slim House majority & a 50-50 Senate, Biden got more legislation passed through reconciliation & with bipartisan support than any Congress in years.

It's tough to understand how we got stuck in this cycle where every time a Democratic president does as much as they can with the trifecta they come into office with, the electorate breaks it up in the midterms, then elects a GOP president with a trifecta who dismantles their accomplishments.

Lol I agree. In this day and age of instant gratification and results, no one plays the long game (except Mitch McConnell and the Heritage foundation), and you really need to wait to see the fruits of some democratic legislation. With repubs tearing it down every 4 yrs, you get nothing. Sadly.

listen, we've all had a lot of fun today learning that we truly are ruled by a pedophiliac cabal that permeates every level of big business and government, but also let's not take our eye off the fact that the senate Dems completely betrayed their base and must be primaried until they're all gone

WATCH — @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social : “My amendment would redirect that $40 BILLION from Argentina to fund the ACA subsidies for two years… a far better use of taxpayer dollars.”

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

We obtained audio recordings and logs from each hearing of a sexual assault case that has spanned 10 years.

Nearly every time the defense attorney asked to delay the trial, a judge agreed.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.
