So 280 people were added to the government payroll to deport zero asylum seekers to Rwanda?

That's proper Tory value.

New Home Office figures reveal the Conservatives' cruel Rwanda scheme cost the taxpayer £715 MILLION.

Just 4 volunteers were sent to Rwanda over 2 years.

And this doesn't account for broader costs to the system - e.g. more hotels used to house asylum seekers; more staff needed.

I’m struggling to find all of the lovely folk from Twitter/ X who care about the NHS.

This is so important right now, because the NHS is in a state of emergency and EveryDoctor is running an important campaign involving 117 MPs already.

Please could you help me to find everyone?🤞💙

Starmer says we won’t rejoin the single market. Instead, we’ll find “agile ways to cooperate which will serve the national interest.”
The Tories said that too.
And achieved absolutely nothing that could be described as “agile”, other than the turds bobbing about in our rivers and seas.

With @trusselluk.bsky.social reporting shocking statistics of those in need of food and #foodbanks this Advent, we revisit the consequences of food #poverty on health & longevity.

“Children with teeth falling out, children with bow legs, in current society – this isn’t the Victorian era”
Who can afford longevity in a cost-of-living crisis?
We all need a healthy diet. So why are politicians normalising food banks and allowing malnutrition and associated illnesses to rise?
